Polly Higgins is a lawyer and environmentalist. Her father had worked as a meteorologist and she grew up in a milieu of environmental awareness in the Scottish Highlands. Noting how the earth was being ravaged and endangered by human greed, she decided that it too needed an advocate. From then on she began to dedicate her life to save the planet. She has since worked tirelessly for this and has written some powerful books, such as Eradicating Ecocide (which is also the name of her website) and Earth is our Business.
